Starbucks Red Holiday Cups features two Filipino Art Works

 
Tis’ the season to be jolly! The Starbucks Red Holiday Cups are back featuring 13 designs created by customers around the world. Two of our kababayan’s designs were chosen and are now printed on this year’s Starbucks Red Cups.
Anz Soza, an interior designer now based in Dubai, made a hobby of doodling Starbucks cups, collecting more than 75 creations. She uses her designs to prove that sometimes, all we need is a change in perspective. Her winning design, ‘Ornaments,’ shows the joyous holiday season through dream catchers.
Chloe Deogagay, a nurse now based in Chicago, created a wintery design which reminds her of her home in the States.
 
Starbucks saw customers using their Red Holiday Cups as a canvas. With this, last December Starbucks invited customers to share their very own design on Instagram. And in just eight days, Starbucks received overwhelming entries of more than 1,200 from 13 countries.
 
The Creative Director of Starbucks Global Creative Studio Dena Blevins was surprised and inspired by the massive submissions of incredible art of the customer. With the beautiful, expressive and engaging designs submitted, she quickly realized the potential use of the arts created by the customers to the Starbucks Holiday Red Cups.
The red holiday cup designs, inspired by the stories of Starbucks customers, feature traditional Christmas lights and ornaments, snowflakes and winter landscapes that express the shared spirit of the holidays.

Alden Richards is the New Endorser of OPPO

OPPO finally unveiled its newest brand ambassador, Alden Richards along with the special edition F1s Limited that sports a metallic grey color.
 
Alden Richards is the other half of the phenomenal power couple AlDub, who stars in a segment of long-running noontime show Eat Bulaga. The love team generated a record-breaking number of tweets last March in one of their episodes, a feat recognized by the Guinness World Records during the tenth anniversary of micro-blogging site Twitter.
Alden Richards expressed his excitement to work with OPPO, Philippine’s second bestselling smartphone brand according to a report by German-based market research firm GfK.
“Selfies capture life’s most unforgettable moments in a very spontaneous way. I’m proud to be part of a family that celebrates those special moments,” Richards shared.

The F1s first made waves among Filipino smartphone users last August. The new smartphone was such a hit that more than 19,000 units across the country sold out in just three days after its debut.
The selfie expert
Nicknamed the ‘selfie expert’, the OPPO F1s has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that can snap bright selfies even in dim light thanks to its large aperture. It also helps users achieve a flawless look through its upgraded beautifying app, Beautify 4.0.
Apart from static selfies, the F1s can create moving images using its Super GIF feature, as well as double-exposure shots that juxtapose two images in one photo to create a sense of motion.
Lightning-fast fingerprint recognition also unlocks the phone in 0.22 seconds. Five fingerprints can be assigned to five contacts or applications for quick access.
The F1s is currently available in gold and rose gold. Concept and dealer stores nationwide will take pre-orders of F1s Limited starting today until November 11. Pre-orders can also be placed through the online shop Lazada. Customers who pre-order will also receive the exclusive set of VR and selfie stick for free.
